The work
Bespoke architectural fabrication — balustrades, pool fencing, gates, privacy screens, staircases. Nothing here is a bulk order. Nothing here gets hidden behind cladding.
We need a boilermaker who sets the bar, not one who meets it. Top of your TIG game, finishing you'd put your name to, straight off a shop drawing, and patient enough to bring an apprentice along rather than talk over one.
You'll need
Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication) or equivalent
Advanced TIG — aluminium and stainless
Reads a shop drawing and builds straight from it
Runs a job without being chased
Australian work rights and a manual licence
You'll get
$40–$46/hr, depending on what you bring
Brand new Kemppi TIG machines

This role has a direct pathway to our Foreman position for the right person - we'd rather promote internally than hire directly into the role. We're looking for someone with the experience and attitude to grow into that position, once they've had the chance to get to know the team, our work and the way we do things.
K&F has been fabricating on the Coast for thirty years and has been under new ownership since 2024. We prioritise maintaining a small but kick ass team, with a great culture to suit, and projects that keep every day interesting.
How it works
$1,000 each. Nobody gets $2,000. Two payments, two people, one condition: whoever takes the job is still here three months later.

Tax and super apply to the hire's $1,000, referrers need an ABN or a one-page ATO form, and there are conditions on who can claim. It's all in the terms.
